Job summary

Sutter Health's Sutter Medical Group in Vallejo, CA seeks a Radiologist to provide weekday onsite coverage with diagnostic, light interventional, and breast imaging expertise. The role emphasizes collaboration with ER, oncology, and surgical teams to maintain patient safety and throughput.

Fellowship in breast imaging is desirable; MD/DO, CA license, ABR cert/eligible, and ability to interpret MRI/CT/Ultrasound required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and CA medical license.
• ABR board certification or eligible.
• Clinical competency in mammography and light interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging: Interpret MRI, CT, and Ultrasound.
• Breast Imaging & Intervention: Diagnostic and screening mammography; biopsies.
• Light Interventional Radiology: CT-guided biopsies, lumbar punctures, nephrostomy, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and barium studies.
• Onsite Collaboration: Weekday coverage with emergency, oncology, and surgical teams to ensure rapid diagnosis and patient safety.
