Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a skilled Breast Radiologist to join the radiology team. The role focuses on comprehensive breast imaging including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, with image-guided biopsies and close collaboration with surgeons and oncologists.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred; substantial breast-imaging experience considered.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
• Meets MQSA requirements for interpreting physicians.
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, including digital breast tomosynthesis.
• Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI examinations.
• Perform image-guided breast procedures (ultrasound-guided, stereotactic/tomosynthesis-guided, MRI-guided biopsies).
• Perform breast localization procedures as appropriate.
• Evaluate patients for diagnostic breast imaging and communicate findings.
• Provide timely communication of significant findings to patients and providers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and tumor boards.
• Collaborate with breast surgery, oncology, pathology, radiation oncology and other specialties.
• Support quality improvement and adherence to breast-imaging standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Participate in educational activities for residents, fellows, technologists, or staff.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Breast Radiologist to join our growing radiology team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imaging services and work collaboratively with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, primary care providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.

Opportunity Details:

Qualifications
