Capital Health is seeking a skilled Breast Radiologist to join our radiology team. You will provide comprehensive breast imaging services and work with surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and other clinicians to deliver high-quality care.

The role focuses on screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided biopsies, with strong emphasis on women’s health and early cancer detection.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred; candidates with substantial breast-imaging experience may also be considered.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Meets applicable MQSA requirements for interpreting physicians.
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, including digital breast tomosynthesis.
• Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI examinations.
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including ultrasound-guided, stereotactic/tomosynthesis-guided, and MRI-guided biopsies.
• Perform breast localization procedures as appropriate.
• Evaluate patients presenting for diagnostic breast imaging and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Provide timely communication of significant or suspicious findings to patients and referring providers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and tumor boards.
• Collaborate closely with breast surgery, oncology, pathology, radiation oncology, and other clinical specialties.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to breast-imaging quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting.
• Participate in educational activities for residents, fellows, technologists, or other clinical staff, as applicable
