Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Radiologist Assistant to perform radiologic exams and procedures under the Radiologist’s direction, ensuring high-quality imaging and proper documentation.

The role requires ARRT registration, R.R.A. certification and ND imaging license, plus BLS/AHA. Schedule is 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with no weekend requirements. This is a patient-centered position within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologist Assistant (R.R.A.) required.
• ARRT registration required (Radiography).
• ND Medical Imaging License with ND Board requirements.
• BLS & AHA certifications within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures documentation is complete and accurate for radiology exams.
• Maintains CME documentation for radiologists and staff.
• Obtains informed consent for exams as required.
• Verifies patient identity for inpatients and outpatients.
• Performs and ensures high-quality imaging according to department standards.
• Prepares and administers IV/oral contrast under Radiologist guidance.
• Trains staff on exam procedures and techniques.
• Assesses pain and acts per SOP.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
