Job summary

Altru Health in Grand Forks, ND seeks a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and educate patients about the process. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure image quality, and support patient comfort during procedures.

The role requires ND imaging licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS. You will work in a busy radiology department with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Proficient in radiographic procedures and patient care.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and SOP adherence.
• Ability to educate patients about procedures and comfort measures.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment and applies proper technical factors to produce quality radiographs.
• Reviews images for quality per SOP and provider preferences.
• Prepares and administers IV and oral contrast under Radiologist direction.
• Provides patient comfort and education to enhance understanding within scope.
• Monitors patient safety, ensures prior images are available, and completes Epic processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
