Job summary

Altru Health in Grand Forks, ND seeks a Radiologist Assistant to perform radiologic exams under the direction of a Radiologist. The role includes documentation, procedure preparation, and compliance with policies. 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, no weekends required.

Requires ARRT Radiologist Assistant certification, North Dakota imaging license, and BLS. Responsibilities include training staff, managing IV/contrast, and ensuring exam quality across the department.

Qualifications

• Must be certified and registered with ARRT in Radiography.
• Complete an ARRT-approved Radiologist Assistant masters or doctoral program.
• ND licensure expected prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Assures documentation is complete to meet radiology physician needs.
• Maintains CME documentation for radiologists and staff.
• Ensures patient consent is obtained for exams.
• Verifies patient identity for inpatients and outpatients.
• Provides high-quality imaging/exams meeting department standards.
• Prepares and administers IV/oral contrast under radiologist direction.
• Trains staff on exam procedures and techniques.
• Performs pain assessment and acts per SOP.
