Job summary

Body Imager in the Chicago area seeks a highly skilled radiologist to interpret X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The role requires a physician who can work in a fast-paced environment, deliver accurate results, and collaborate with referring physicians and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO, be board-certified or eligible in Radiology by the ABR, and possess an active Illinois medical

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret Diagnostic Imaging: Review and interpret X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss findings and aid treatment planning.
  • Ensure Patient Safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols and minimizing exposure.
  • Provide consultation to referring physicians and support patient follow-up as needed.
  • Stay updated with advances in radiology and imaging technologies through continuing education.

Starting salary: $500,000 - $550,000. 55-60 RVUs per shift.

Benefits

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Diagnostic Imaging: Review and interpret various diagnostic imaging studies, ensuring accurate diagnosis and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with Physicians: Work closely with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss findings and provide guidance for treatment planning.
  • Ensure Patient Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize patient exposure to radiation.
  • Consultation and Follow‑Up: Provide consultation to referring physicians and support patient follow‑up as necessary.
  • Stay Updated with Advances in Radiology: Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in radiology practices and imaging technologies.
Qualifications
  • Education: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
