Radiologic Technologist, $10K Sign On Bonus

Experience and Education

Required: ARRT (R) certification, Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA or ARC by first day, Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or graduation from an AMA-approved school.

Shift

Fri-Mon, 9PM-7:30AM

Job Duties

1. Review physician orders for accuracy and applicability; communicate with Radiologists regarding urgent findings; modify protocols as needed.
2. Interview patients to gather medical history, explain procedures, and ensure safety, including screening for adverse reactions.
3. Assist physicians in procedures, ensure proper documentation, and perform procedures accurately and timely.
4. Complete exam charges and documentation, ensure radiation safety, assist patients physically and communicate effectively.
5. Perform QC testing, report system issues, and maintain safety and quality standards.
6. Respond promptly to inquiries, participate in codes and rapid responses, and adhere to organizational behaviors.
7. Communicate shift hand-offs and participate in workload distribution.
8. Provide orientation and training, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure standards are met.
9. Prioritize and schedule exams to optimize workflow and patient care.
10. Follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and maintain patient confidentiality.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
