Job summary

Odessa College seeks a Radiologic Technology Faculty and Clinical Coordinator to supervise the clinical education component while delivering instructional content. This Full Time role partners with the Program Director and clinical sites to ensure alignment of didactic and clinical training and to support student outcomes.

The position requires current ARRT radiography certification, an unrestricted Texas MRT license, and experience in radiography education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Current ARRT certification and registration in Radiography.
• Current unrestricted Texas MRT license.
• Minimum of two years of documented clinical experience in radiography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• Demonstrated proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty, college personnel, clinical preceptors, clinical staff, and clinical education partners.
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge of radiologic technology and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical education with didactic and laboratory education.
• Evaluate clinical education effectiveness and participate in ongoing improvement.
• Coordinate student clinical assignments and rotations with program leadership and clinical partners.
• Maintain communication with sites, staff, students, and faculty about clinical education.
• Monitor student progress, performance, attendance, and professional behavior.
• Provide clinical instruction, supervision, evaluation, and feedback to students.
