Job summary

Global Placement Firm is partnering with a healthcare organization in Ocala, FL to hire a Radiologic Technologist XRay. You will perform X-rays, ensure patient comfort, and follow ALARA safety practices in a collaborative radiology team.

The role welcomes new graduates and experienced technologists, with shifts including Days or Nights and rotating weekends. A sign-on bonus and relocation support are available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed by the state of Florida.
• Accredited by ARRT.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-rays as ordered by the provider following ALARA radiation safety practices.
• Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for review.
• Room patients and record vital signs and history.
• Assist patients and providers with walking, transfers, exam preparation, and other needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and supplies in rooms.
• Transport patients as needed.
