Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT registration in Radiography (R).
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license, as applicable to the assigned modality.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and professional standards.

What You'll Do

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in X-ray, CT, and/or MRI, as applicable to your qualifications and assigned responsibilities.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
• Prepare patients for imaging examinations, explain procedures, and respond to questions or concerns with compassion and professionalism.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot imaging equipment and related technology, including digital radiography, PACS, RIS, and other department-specific systems.
• Apply appropriate imaging protocols and exercise sound clinical judgment to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Follow applicable radiation safety practices, MRI safety procedures, infection prevention standards, OSHA regulations, HIPAA requirements, and departmental policies.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure imaging equipment and work areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and required competency assessments.
• Support the training and development of students and colleagues as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiography (R).
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license, as applicable to the assigned modality and scope of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and professional standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing diagnostic X-ray, CT, and/or MRI procedures.
• Additional ARRT credentials in CT or MRI, as applicable to the position.
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems, PACS, RIS, and electronic medical records.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Modality-specific qualifications and registration requirements will depend on the responsibilities of the position.
