Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.
• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Medical Providers with patient examination and treatment.
• Perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results.
• Prepare patients for examinations and conduct preliminary tests.
• Maintain medical records and ensure proper equipment functioning.

Skills

Positioning patients properly for the X-ray procedure

Identifying equipment problems

Following infection control and radiological safety procedures

Education

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program

High School Diploma or equivalent
