St. Elizabeth's Hospital is hiring a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for the X-ray department. This full-time day-shift role offers 36 hours weekly with weekends only, in O'Fallon, IL, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

  • BLS required; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiography procedures across age groups using imaging equipment.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging.
  • Adhere to department protocols and quality control procedures.

Job description

Pay Range: $26.80 - $40.20 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Education Qualifications

Bachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.

Experience Qualifications

1 year experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.

IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.

Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.

Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
