Job summary

HSHS Medical Group seeks a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, able to work independently with all age groups using various imaging systems. New grads welcomed.

Schedule: Full-time day shift, 36 hours weekly, weekends only. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000. Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree or completed radiology program. licensure and ARRT RT(R) eligibility required within 12 months. BLS required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
  • 1 year experience is preferred.
  • WI: Licensed Radiographer upon DSPS is required.
  • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology is required.
  • ARRT RT(R) certification/registration or registry-eligible; to be obtained within 12 months.
  • BLS is required.

Pay Range: $26.80 - $40.20

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1 year experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.
  • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
