Job summary

Medical City McKinney is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging under radiologist supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety and adherence to radiologic standards in a busy acute care setting.

Full-time schedule 11:00am-11:30pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with opportunities to participate in national safety and quality improvement initiatives within the Radiology Department.

Qualifications

• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT registration required; state radiologic technician license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging under radiologist supervision for all ages.
• Maintain a safe radiologic environment following safety guidelines and practice standards.
• Participate in Departmental Performance Improvement activities.
• Assist radiologists in procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the department.

• Performs superior / quality Diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
• Participates in Departmental Performance Improvement activities.
• Assists Radiologists in procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
