Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a CT Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans under Radiologist guidance. You will maintain a safe imaging environment and participate in continuous improvement activities within the Radiology department.

Qualifications

• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans on all ages under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintains safe, diagnostic radiology environment following standards and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
• Assists in Diagnostic Radiology as needed.
• Follows HCA ALWAYS Values in all duties.

Performs superior/quality CT Scans on all ages under the guidance of a Radiologist. Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring. Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities. Assists in Diagnostic Radiology as needed. Other duties as assigned. Shall follow the ALWAYS Values of HCA.
