Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-registration required or eligible for ARRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform routine, portable, operating room or fluoroscopic exams.
• Position patient and adjust equipment to produce high-quality images while minimizing exposure.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide care during radiologic procedures.
• Document procedures and ensure proper billing/charts in Radiology Information System.
