Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform general diagnostic imaging under physician supervision. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and assist with patient preparation and documentation.

The role includes explaining procedures and maintaining supplies to support high-quality care. Eligible candidates hold an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related Trade School Certificate and ARRT licensure.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a Trade School Certificate required.
• ARRT certification/licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies under physician supervision.
• Position patients for accurate anatomy/pathology demonstration.
• Operate radiation-producing equipment and electronic radiology systems.
• Prepare patient room/equipment/medications and maintain supply inventory.
• Explain examinations and procedures to patients and obtain informed consent when appropriate.
• Complete departmental documentation and ensure accurate records.
