Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, performing standard radiographs for diverse age groups. The role requires autonomy to conduct IV, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies in appropriate hospital areas.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, be ARRT registered, CPR certified, and able to interact effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certified in CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Operates X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for patients of all ages (neonate to geriatric).
  • Performs intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies with autonomy.
  • Works in hospital areas requiring indirect supervision.
  • Interacts tactfully with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.

REQUIRED:
  1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  3. Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
  4. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
PREFERRED:
  1. Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
