Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a skilled Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray and fluoroscopic studies across neonate to geriatric patients, ensuring image quality and patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, be ARRT registered, and hold American Heart Association CPR. Prior diagnostic radiology experience is preferred; strong communication with patients and colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

  • ARRT registration is required.
  • CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Must demonstrate professional patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs.
  • Perform intravenous radiographic studies as required.
  • Work with autonomy and indirect supervision in a clinical setting.
  • Provide care for female patient population over thirty-five years old.

Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous radiographic studies and work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over thirty-five years of age.

Required
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR).
Preferred
  • Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
