SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Operates radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic imaging films as directed by physicians and performs routine diagnostic procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology, equivalent on the job training, or military service or course.
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or be registry eligible.
- American Heart Association BLS required prior to completion of orientation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Within the last two years, one year of experience as a radiology technologist preferred.
