Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our new Stamford center. You will perform diagnostic X-rays, review images, and adhere to radiation safety standards as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• State licensure in Radiography required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Dependable, adaptable, and highly organized.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Interest in developing clinical skills beyond traditional imaging responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays ordered by providers to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Follow all radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as appropriate.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Obtain clinical information and vital signs as needed.
• Support laboratory and diagnostic testing processes.
• Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a safe and organized clinic environment.
