An established industry player is seeking a dedicated part-time Radiologic Tech to enhance its urgent care team. This role involves performing radiographic procedures and providing essential patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment. Flexibility with scheduling is key, as the center operates seven days a week. Join a passionate team where your contributions will significantly impact the well-being of patients in need of timely medical attention. If you are committed to delivering high-quality care and have the required qualifications, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Our Team Urgent care, sometimes known as walk-in care, fast care, or express care, is a convenient option for patients 18 months and older who require timely medical care, but the situation is not an emergency. Because patients typically come to us when they aren't feeling their best, it is incredibly important to us that our staff members strive to provide the compassion and emotional support our patients need.
Our Urgent Care Center is located at 170 University Drive, Amherst. The operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are open on major holidays 9:00am to 5:00pm, but closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We are seeking a part time, 20-hour Radiologic Tech to join our team! The ideal schedule will be Monday-Friday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Since Urgent Care is a 7-day-per-week operation that delivers care days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, we request staff to be flexible with scheduling needs, and take on weekend/holiday coverage as needed. As a small but strong team of 1-2 providers and 2-3 support staff, our Radiologic Techs also perform administrative duties, such as checking in patients, while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic procedures using stationary, portable, and specialized equipment at a technical and professional level that does not require constant supervision and is of acceptable quality. We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other locations for training/precepting purposes or during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances (for cross-coverage purposes). The other locations are Southampton and Northampton.
This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
