Job summary

Concentra in Detroit, MI is seeking a Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist for a full-time role with a schedule Monday–Friday, 9:30 am–6 pm. The position offers a bonus up to $7,500 and requires competency in radiologic procedures and patient care.

You will perform x-ray exams under supervision, support DOT and non-DOT testing, manage front/back-office tasks, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
• ARRT registration and active certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• At least six months of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of state occupational medicine requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escort to dressing and x-ray rooms, and assist in positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and adjust exposure times.
• Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Ensure radiology equipment is maintained and report malfunctions.
• Ensure radiology reports cross correctly to EMR and follow documentation procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate x-ray equipment and keep QA/QC records.
