Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist to perform routine X-ray examinations and support other clinical areas, ensuring quality care and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment operation, safety procedures, and documentation within EMR, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with state certification.
• Active ARRT registration.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• At least six months of medical assistant experience, including knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
• Preferred: experience in occupational medicine or medical office/customer-service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures; escort to rooms and position for X‑ray exams.
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure settings per exam specifications.
• Use radiation safety measures to safeguard patients and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment; report malfunctions.
• Follow Radiology workflows and ensure reports are entered into EMR.
• Complete required documentation for patient X‑ray visits.
