Job summary

Wtbjc offers a full-time radiology technologist position requiring ARRT certification and a TN X-ray license. You will operate radiological equipment to create diagnostic x-ray images, follow safety and QC measures, and assist with ultrasound image import to patient charts.

Responsibilities include patient verification, equipment maintenance, and safeguarding patient/employee safety. Prior experience is preferred, with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiological technology training.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
• TN State Medical X-Ray Operator License (Limited Certification accepted) and in good standing.

• Reports to Supervisor any safety concerns.

• Maintains up to date importing of ultrasound images to patient charts.
• Responsible for DME supplies and reporting issues to DME/Inventory Manager
• Basic casting and splinting knowledge to assist provider

Job description

General Summary: A nonexempt position responsible for operating radiological equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians and to perform routine diagnostic procedures utilizing required radiation safety and quality control measures.

Position: Full-time

Hours: M-F, 8-5

• Performs all diagnostic radiology procedures according to established guidelines.
• Performs quality control measures to assure accuracy of procedural results. Reports to Supervisor any safety concerns.
• Verification and identification of all patients.
• Maintains equipment and utilizes protective devices to ensure patient and employee safety.
