Job summary

UAB Medicine’s radiology team is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures at the North Pavilion location and support trauma and emergency services. You will ensure high-quality imaging, prioritize patient safety, and communicate critical results promptly in a fast-paced setting.

Under supervision, you’ll work with modern imaging equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to patient care across multiple service lines at an adult Level I Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT and required.
• One year of general radiography experience preferred.
• Currently registered as RT(ARRT) OR registered within one year from hire date.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) required or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic examinations in a fast-paced environment.
• Support trauma teams, emergency services and multiple service lines with accurate imaging.
• Maintain patient safety and timely communication of critical information.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
