In this role as our Radiologic Technologist Trainee (RTT), you will observe and learn how to produce diagnostic images using a variety of radiographic equipment, including R/F suites, general radiographic systems, portable systems, C-arm fluoroscopy, and digital radiography systems. You will be trained to select the appropriate technical factors for optimal results, use proper radiation protection and shielding as prescribed in protocols, and gain competency in performing exams on diverse patient populations. You will be responsible for daily quality assurance, maintaining quality control standards, following research protocols, inspecting imaging devices for failures, and reporting issues promptly. Additionally, trainees will review requisitions with radiologists to assess exam appropriateness and perform other duties as assigned.

The RTT is expected to support UCLA healthcare radiology locations in the Santa Monica and Westwood regions. The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled or a recent graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Salary Range: $38.05 Hourly
