Responsabilidades

• Assists with patient preparation, identity verification, and positioning for exams to ensure comfort and safety.
• Assists technologists with routine diagnostic imaging, room setup, supplies, and equipment positioning.
• Applies ALARA radiation safety principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Documents patient information accurately and completely.
• May assist physicians in imaging procedures and with contrast media administration as allowed.
• May transport patients to and from imaging areas as needed.

Weekend Requirements: N/A | Work Hours: 0800-1630 | Status: Per Diem/PRN - 0.0 FTE (less than 40 hours per pay period) | Entity: Owensboro Health Regional Hospital | Department: Cardiac Cath LabJob Summary:Provides imaging services to patients and supports the department in basic radiographic duties under the direct supervision of a registered Radiological Technologist.Job Responsibilities:Assists with patient preparation through verification of patient identity, explanation of procedures, positioning patients for exams and ensuring patient comfort and safety.Assist technologists with routine diagnostic imaging, including setting up rooms, preparing supplies and positioning equipment.Utilizes radiation protection and safety standards.
