Job summary

UPMC | GoHealth Urgent Care seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging and support patient care across all ages. You will collaborate with providers and medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and safe, efficient service in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role emphasizes ALARA safety, proper positioning, and record-keeping, with opportunities for professional growth and hands-on training in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT registered.
• ARRT registration required; state licensure as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong commitment to radiation safety and ALARA principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray imaging for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with Providers and Medical Assistants on patient care and communication.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and protection during imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records and QA/QC logs for equipment.
• Assist with point-of-care testing and administrative tasks as needed.
