PhyicianOne Urgent Care in Hamden, CT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. You will perform diagnostic x-rays, ensure patient safety, maintain equipment, and support front office operations.

This role requires state licensure in Radiography and ARRT certification, completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program, and the ability to work variable hours including nights and weekends. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic x-rays as ordered.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; explain procedures clearly.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment.
• Position and shield patients appropriately.
• Store and manage radiographic images per protocol.
• Greet and assist patients and visitors professionally.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and manage messages.
• Maintain and update patient records.
• Handle correspondence, insurance, billing, and scanning.
• Support front office during busy periods.
• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
• Obtain clinical information and vital signs.
• Assist with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tests, draw blood, and process specimens.
• Maintain emergency equipment and stock supplies.
• Provide discharge instructions and support clinic flow.
