Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, Nebraska is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the Imaging Department. This role supports X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography if qualified, delivering high-quality images and compassionate patient care.

You will collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team, maintain equipment and QA records, and participate in on-call rotations. Eligibility for ARRT and Nebraska license are required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT credential or eligible for certification.
• Nebraska radiographer license or eligible.
• CT and Mammography experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork.
• Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program.
• Current ARRT registry in good standing.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, mammography if qualified).
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QA standards, and PACS documentation.
• Participate in department training, quality improvement, and on-call rotation.
