Job summary

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, Nebraska is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Department. This role involves performing X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography (if qualified) while delivering high-quality images and compassionate patient care.

You will work with physicians and radiologists, maintain equipment and documentation, and engage in training and on-call rotation. Eligible candidates must meet ARRT/Nebraska licensure and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or eligible for certification.
• Nebraska Medical Radiographer License (or eligible).
• CT and Mammography experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray, CT, bone densitometry, and mammography as qualified.
• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians and radiology team.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QA standards, and PACS documentation.
• Participate in training, quality improvements, and on-call rotation.
