Radiologic Technologist

On-call - Day shifts
Locations: Kent Island, Easton, and Denton, Maryland

Join our fast-paced Urgent Care Centers! Our Radiologic Technologists are responsible for providing quality, patient-centered care, performing x-ray studies, and supporting medical assistant duties for UM Urgent Care patients. Candidates should be self-driven, comfortable with multi-tasking, and committed to excellence. Our centers are open 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm; team members typically work 3-4 shifts per week, including on-call.

Principle Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Perform duties as both front office and back office clinical team members, depending on daily assignment.
  • Greet and assist patients and guests professionally and hospitably. Register patients in the EMR following protocols.
  • Room patients, provide triage services including vital signs and symptom review in EMR.
  • Record patient information accurately in the EMR.
  • Proficient in medical assisting skills: collecting urine samples, administering medications, providing oxygen/nebulizer treatments, assisting with procedures, performing minor procedures, collecting specimens, conducting rapid tests, performing EKGs, processing blood samples, and fitting patients for durable medical equipment.
  • Perform routine lab maintenance and sterilization procedures.
  • Clean and stage exam and procedure rooms between patients.
  • Process payments for services.
  • Prepare radiology equipment and assist patients with x-ray studies, ensuring proper image capture.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as emails and phone calls.
  • Assist in training new staff members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including traveling to multiple centers within the market.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Graduation from an approved radiologic technologist program required.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Current state licensure as a radiologic technologist or limited radiologic technologist required.
