Job summary

Primary Vascular Care is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to support vascular procedures in the operating room.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT Certification, NY State license, and BLS, with 2+ years in interventional imaging and C-arm fluoro experience in an OR setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of interventional, vascular, or surgical imaging experience.
• Experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy in an OR or procedural setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during vascular procedures in the operating room.
• Assist physicians with image-guided vascular interventions including angiograms, angioplasty, atherectomy, and related procedures.
• Ensure proper radiation safety protocols for staff and patients.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist the procedural team as needed.
• Verify proper equipment setup, functionality, and imaging quality prior to procedures.
• Document imaging procedures in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.

Position Overview: Primary Vascular Care is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our team on a per diem basis assisting with vascular procedures in the operating room. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment and has experience supporting physicians during image-guided vascular interventions.

This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled vascular team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during vascular procedures in the operating room.
