Job summary

Primary Vascular Care is a specialized vascular practice seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join on a per diem basis, assisting with vascular procedures in the operating room. The role features flexible per diem scheduling and the chance to work with a skilled vascular team. ARRT certification and NY license are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required for the role.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of interventional, vascular, or surgical imaging experience.
• Experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy in OR/procedural settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy during vascular procedures in the operating room.
• Assist physicians with image-guided vascular interventions including angiograms and angioplasty.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols for staff and patients.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain sterile technique and support the procedural team.
• Verify equipment setup and imaging quality prior to procedures.
• Document imaging procedures per guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff for efficient workflow.
