Position: Radiologic Technologist 1 & 2

We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist 1 & 2 to join our team!

Under general supervision, operates radiographic and sonographic equipment, following the provider’s instructions and department procedures. Responsibilities include positioning patients, adjusting equipment, acquiring images, and assisting physicians with examinations, including administering contrast media and assisting with procedures as needed.

Essential Functions

• Supports and models behaviors aligned with RMH’s mission, vision, values, and strategic goals. Adheres to RMH’s Code of Business Conduct and compliance program. Maintains competency in safety standards relevant to the role.
• Treats patients, families, and co-workers with respect and professionalism. Ensures radiological services comply with applicable standards and regulations.
• Performs quality exams using department routines, prepares rooms and supplies, and processes radiographs.
• Prepares patients for examinations, explains procedures, and ensures safety protocols are followed, including radiation safety.
• Informs management of any concerns, assists with inventory management, and maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Performs clerical tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and image management.
• Analyzes sonograms and medical histories, differentiates normal from abnormal findings, and communicates with physicians.
• Maintains departmental organization, safety standards, and participates in mentoring student technologists.
• Follows organizational policies, arrives punctually, and performs other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.
• Certification by ARRT or eligible (must achieve within six months).
• Current Montana Radiology Technologist license.
• CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers.
