Job summary

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist for a full-time assignment at Soledad, CA correctional facility. 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm; orientation included.

The role involves developing and processing X-Ray exposures, following exam protocols, and responding to emergencies under supervision of radiologist or medical provider. California CDPH-RHB license required.

Qualifications

• Must have a license from the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
• Must have 1 full-year of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Develop and process X-Ray exposures.
• Comply with all exam protocols as established by the Diagnostic Imaging department.
• Consult with Radiologist or ordering medical provider when necessary for purposes of clarification.
• Provide emergency medical support to medical providers in the event of allergic reaction to injected radiological contrast or any other medical emergency.

Position Details:

40 hours per week

Location: Soledad, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

(2 week Orientation)

Rate: $40/hr ($1,600/week) Local or $48/hr ($1,920/week) Traveler

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Institution's designee, the Temporary/Relief Temporary/Relief
Radiologic Technologists duties/responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following
requirements:

a. Develop and process X-Ray exposures;

b. Comply with all exam protocols as established by the Diagnostic Imaging department;

c. Consult with Radiologist or ordering medical provider when necessary for purposes of
clarification;

d. Provide emergency medical support to medical providers in the event of allergic reaction to injected
radiological contrast or any other medical emergency;

e. Utilize proper identification marker prior to procedure;
