Radiologic Technologist, Radiology - Diagnostic, Night Shift, Full Time

Join our team at Adventist Health as a Radiologic Technologist, Radiology - Diagnostic, Night Shift, Full Time.

About the Role

Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley has provided high-quality healthcare since 1934. Our facility includes a 25-bed hospital, outpatient services, emergency department, rural health clinics, and medical offices. Located north of Southern California's densely populated areas, Tehachapi offers scenic mountain views, outdoor activities, and a vibrant community atmosphere.

Job Summary

Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. Position and instruct patients, adjust equipment, and determine proper exposure parameters to ensure quality images.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
  • Radiologic Tech license in CA and HI: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license: Required in CA within 6 months of hire
Essential Functions
  • Perform diagnostic screening procedures, explain procedures to patients, and ensure safety.
  • Produce diagnostic images, document exams, and report findings to physicians.
  • Verify exams on PACS and perform other related duties as assigned.
