Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team. This is a Full-Time Day shift position: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7am to 5:30pm. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures demonstrating understanding of principles, anatomy, and pathology, using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Operate imaging equipment confidently in various care settings, adhering to safety protocols
• Assist in teaching radiography students, ensuring quality and safety
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and cooperation
• Assist physicians during examinations, following protocols and sterile techniques
• Recognize and address clinical or emergent issues during procedures

Additional Requirements

• Work schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7am to 5:30pm
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT registration within 12 months of hire
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• At least one year of radiology training and recent hospital/healthcare experience
