Job summary

Atrium Health Davie Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, document patient histories, verify identities, and assist radiologists.

The position requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology training, registry eligibility within 12 months, and BLS certification; on-site work with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

You’ll Need

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology


• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required
