Job summary

Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to operate radiology equipment and perform diagnostic imaging under physician direction.

Evening and night differential apply, with varied hours. Required qualifications include ARRT registration or eligibility and AHA BLS before orientation; a high school diploma is required, and graduates of radiologic technology programs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology, or equivalent on-the-job training/military service.
• Must be registered by ARRT or registry eligible.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment to produce diagnostic imaging films as directed by physicians.
• Performs routine diagnostic radiology procedures as part of patient care.

Education
