Job summary

Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to operate radiographic and CT equipment and provide clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain patient safety and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic and CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images as directed by physicians.
• Reviews indications for exams and reports issues to supervisor as needed.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and complies with Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Mentors staff and students during rotations and on-the-job training.
• Utilizes PACS, RIS, and HIS EMR systems for documentation and image handling.
