Qualifications

• Assoc. degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification within 60 days of hire.
• Visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures accurately and efficiently per standards.
• Initiates interventions to radiologist or practitioner when immediate attention is needed.
• Reviews indications for exams and reports inappropriate indications to supervisor.
• Provides complete exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Operates PACS/RIS/HIS EMR systems and handles general clerical duties.
• Archives image data and ensures CDs are provided when needed.
