Job summary

The role requires formal training in radiologic technology or equivalent experience, and NYS licensure with ARRT CE credits upon hire. Location is on-site in Rochester, NY, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Formal training in Radiologic Technology required.
• Equivalent education and/or experience considered.
• Ability to operate radiography equipment and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality X-ray images safely and efficiently.
• Verify orders and comply with departmental policies.
• Position patients and select exposure factors for optimal imaging.
• Verify patient identity and exam details in the information system.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in X-ray rooms.
• Document and bill studies accurately; train new staff as needed.
