Qualifications

• Certification in Radiography by ARRT.
• Active Illinois IEMA license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Assess physician orders for radiologic examinations per procedure.
• Evaluate requests and determine appropriate protocol and patient suitability.
• Educate patients about the examination and address anxiety and safety.
• Position patients and perform imaging with appropriate equipment.
• Maintain patient records and ensure quality documentation.
• Ensure exam room readiness and assist education of staff and students.
