Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification.
• IEMA Accreditation required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols.
• Applies professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and takes corrective action as needed.
• Administers contrast per policy with screening for contraindications and monitoring.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains room readiness.
• Identifies equipment issues and notifies maintenance per policy.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and image archive systems.
• Adheres to safety standards and supports positive patient experience.
