Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a dedicated Radiology Imaging professional to perform diagnostic imaging exams and ensure high-quality results while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The role requires adherence to ALARA principles and collaboration with radiologists and healthcare teams.

Candidates should have an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Benefits include PTO, mental health support, wellness rooms, and concierge services.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Excellent patient/customer service skills.
• Proficiency in modality imaging and patient care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in modality imaging per protocol and ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Performs imaging exams consistent to assigned modality and evaluates images for technical quality.
• Provides optimal patient care and supports Patient Family Centered care during procedures.
• Adheres to patient safety principles and responds appropriately in emergencies.
• Maintains aseptic technique and hand hygiene policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned and adheres to all Wellstar policies.
