Job summary

Geisinger is seeking Radiologic Technologists to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. You will prepare exams, verify orders, and follow ALARA principles to minimize exposure.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R within 6 months; experienced staff should achieve level 2 ARRT within 24 months and maintain BLS certification. This is a full-time clinical role in a hospital setting with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
• Achieve level 2 ARRT status within 24 months (post hire).
• Registered radiologic technologist with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct order is obtained, patient identified, and history documented.
• Applies imaging protocol and ALARA to optimize safety and quality.
• Assists with vascular access medications as prescribed by a clinician.
• Evaluates images for proper positioning and quality; ensures data is stored or transferred.
