Job summary

Carbon Health in Marlboro, New Jersey is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (XRT) to perform diagnostic imaging and support clinical workflows. You will help patients through imaging, ensure safety, and collaborate with radiologists and MAs to keep the clinic running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a CRT certificate, CPR-BLS, ARRT or equivalent credential, and at least 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging and explain procedures.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
• Prepare images for Radiologist interpretation and assist with MA duties.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in process improvements.
• Complete DOT certification training for urine drug screens and breath tests.
• Work autonomously within established procedures.

The Radiologic Technologist (XRT) position is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. You’ll help patients through the imaging process and work cross-functionally to support your team with other tasks that expand your knowledge and experience to keep our clinic running smoothly. We are looking for someone with availability and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow
• Attend staff and departmental meetings
• Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
• Proposes improvements to processes and workflows
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

ABOUT YOU

• Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience. May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
• Current CRT certificate
• Current CPR- BLS
• Licensure/Certifications: Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
